Netflix has divorced from the freshman series ‘Uncoupled.’

For, it’s been confirmed that the romantic comedy has been canceled.

The series, which starred Neil Patrick Harris as well as Tisha Campbell in a supporting role, earned praise from many corners for its refreshing take on navigating relationships and dating as older gay men.

However, as is well-documented in the ultra-competitive TV space, critical acclaim isn’t enough to secure renewals. Case in point ‘Uncoupled’ – which Variety reports has been officially axed by the streamer.

With viewing figures rarely released by on-demand platforms, it’s difficult to decipher if the show found a steady audience.

In any case, the series not progressing to season 2 is unfortunate.

Still, as a standalone watch, it remains solid and compellingly progressive.

The ending was tacky and played out. He was dumped in a public and humiliating way, and in the end they just get back together? 🙄🙃😴😴😴
